A Nexera™ Canola Success Story
Dow AgroSciences’ Nexera canola is an Identity Preserved canola with a unique and highly desirable oil profile. In order to increase dramatically the number of Nexera canola acres grown, AdFarm recognized that we needed to raise Nexera’s profile within the grower community quickly and significantly. As a major part of the overall campaign, AdFarm developed and launched “Keys to the Combine” on September 15, 2011, giving canola growers across Western Canada a chance, by unlocking as many as 25 keys over the 15 month contest, to win full ownership of a 2012 New Holland CR 9090 combine at www.keystothecombine.ca. Participants were required to learn something about Nexera canola in order to win each key. The online contest closed November 6, 2012 and the random draw was broadcast online on November 8, 2012. Acre goals were hit, and the momentum continues to grow.
