Open Farm Days

THE CHALLENGE

Food chain awareness has become an important consumer issue with notable impact on many aspects of agriculture. Alberta Open Farm Days is a collaborative, province-wide, two-day event that gives Albertans an opportunity to experience farms and farming, helping them understand where food comes from

Open Farm Days

Working alongside Ag for Life, the Alberta Government, Travel Alberta and the Alberta Association of Agricultural Societies, AdFarm created Alberta Open Farm Days to bridge the gap between buyers and producers, as well as rural and urban communities through this fun and interactive weekend event. Tours and culinary events are advertised in a variety of mediums, using interactive maps and route planners on the Open Farm Days website to help the widest possible range of visitors make the most of their rural ramblings.
