Our parent company, RR46, is looking for a qualified team leader to manage our IT team and provide effective guidance to all business units of RR46.  The Director of IT is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing IT strategies that increase organizational effectiveness and security. The Director will also be responsible for managing partner relationships and delegating responsibilities to the IT team.

What you’ll do

  • Leadership and management of IT employees and resources including people, process, policy and technology; both hardware and software
  • Develop and maintain training programs for new employees and yearly training to all employees as needed
  • Provide direction in complex problem-solving situations
  • Work with internal staff to identify process improvement opportunities throughout RR46
  • Maintain security of RR46’s assets and support of team needs related to security
  • Collaborate with agency leaders and third-party data centers to provide technical direction on network topologies, server configurations, hardware/software deployments, firewall configurations and other administrative tasks related to the staging and maintenance of company development, testing and production servers
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery of hardware upgrades, network upgrades and new configurations
  • Interface with vendors to obtain required equipment and software while ensuring proper audit and budget controls are met
  • Provide technical and procedural direction to the company for the actual implementation of the network servers used, as well as interface with internal users, development personnel and other technical staff
  • Maintain technical capacity and stay abreast of changes in the standards, technologies and methodologies relevant to our industry and information technology as a whole

Who you are

  • Skilled in problem solving/analysis
  • Ability to influence and lead a team to inspire engagement and drive collaboration
  • Experience with managing teams and IT infrastructure at multiple locations – nationally and internationally
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills with excellent time management and team building skills
  • Hold a broad understanding on current technology trends and the ability to guide and advise RR46 Leadership on directions in technology, architecture and software solutions
  • Understanding of various business verticals, including advertising, marketing, digital multimedia and research. Able to demonstrate expertise in running agile teams in an enterprise setting
  • 7+ years’ experience in technology field
  • Some travel is expected
